Tampa, FL—September 8, 2021—Monomer Software today announced it has joined the NVIDIA Inception program, which is designed to nurture startups revolutionizing industries with advancements in A.I. and data sciences.
Monomer Software is focused on developing its scalable A.I. platform, Canopy – an end-to-end solution for deploying A.I. cameras at industrial facilities. With Canopy, Monomer Software aims to deliver a full hardware and software platform for companies looking to further automate their operations with smart cameras.
A major innovation of the Canopy lineup is its patent-pending self-cleaning camera, which uses the NVIDIA Jetson platform for enabling edge computing operations directly on the camera. This camera is built to withstand some of the harshest and dirtiest conditions for deployments at mining operations, chemical plants, and other challenging locations. In tandem with the intuitive Canopy Web Platform, customers can deploy their own cameras, annotate images, and train their own A.I. models easily without having to write any code. Built upon NVIDIA’s tools for deep learning, the Canopy platform allows customers to train highly accurate models without the need for large datasets or ML expertise. Through the platform, customers can have an A.I. camera deployed and operational in as little as 10 days.
NVIDIA Inception will provide Monomer Software special access to leading deep learning technologies and subject-matter experts, along with support on scaling its technology to a wider audience. The program will also offer Monomer Software the opportunity to meet with potential customers and to collaborate with other A.I.-driven organizations.
“We have been focused on developing our product and working with our customers to create a solution that allows for fast adoption as customers move towards further automation with cameras,” said Harry Helmrich, CEO of Monomer Software. “NVIDIA Inception will be an invaluable resource as we bring our early-stage product to more customers. We look forward to furthering our collaboration with NVIDIA and are excited to work with the Inception team as we scale and grow our business.”
NVIDIA Inception helps startups during critical stages of product development, prototyping, and deployment. Every Inception member gets a custom set of ongoing benefits, such as NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute credits, marketing support, and technology assistance, which provides startups with the fundamental tools to help them grow.
